2-3 inches of quality hardwood mulch should be put on your flower beds each year. A good mulch will break down into the soil.

Don't cut Hydrangeas down to the ground, they will not bloom. They need one full year to form a flower bud.

Water your lawn before it starts to dry out.

The two most important things you can do for your lawn are aerate and lime.

New sod needs to be watered daily until it starts to root.
